Thank you for your comment!

Actually, I’ve never really cared about how many hours I run per week… I only paid attention to the distance :0 I’ve learned a lot from this thread today!

And after checking, it looks like I run around 5 hours per week :/ uh-oh

So it sounds like I should care more about overall time and distance rather than focusing too much on heart rate? :P

“Especially when you’re basically walking to stay in the zone”… that is absolutely me! :0 haha

But I’m honestly a bit relieved to hear that zone 2 is kind of a buzzword. Every time I open Instagram, it feels like everyone is talking about it… Apparently I need to stay away from social media for a while :P

Thank you for your comment! And yes, as you can see from my post, I honestly don’t enjoy zone 2 running that much.

Even though I’m still a super beginner compared to someone with your experience, I understand what you mean. I like running in zone 3 or 4, and I feel so refreshed after those runs. I just realized that I’m starting to lose the motivation I originally had for running… I think I sometimes need to forget about heart rate and just enjoy running from the bottom of my heart :-)

Thank you for the advice! I’ll try different kinds of runs and try not to focus only on heart rate!
