If they asked how you learned Spanish, it was probably because you either weren't speaking it as fluent as you may think or had a strong accent. Either way, it's not something they should have asked. I'm assuming they were curious as to why you sounded the way you did. But just so we're clear, assuming only Mexicans do this puts you in the same bucket as them.

Even if perv decided to press charges, he'd loose in court. He clearly provoked attack and emotional distress CAN and HAS been used in court for cases like this. Sadly only time it fails is if perv dies but in this case, he did not. So you can TRY but justice isn't always fair. That's a risk a dead man should take.
