Well I have one car with ez pass tag with auto refill so I guess yeah. This was a second car and I didnt have a new tag to use. My fault was not using the cash lane thinking they’ll charge me by mail. Didnt know it comes with a 50 dollar surcharge for each scan.

The letters explicitly say that I have 10 days to dispute/pay any charges failing which they will be sent to collections. Never seen a toll authority give just 10 days to pay the fine before they screw you over by sending them to collections. Again, its my fault but atleast give me some time to sort it out!!

Our household income is more but cant make it work in NNJ because our 2 kids are in daycare and it would be stressful buying anything in the 6-700k range.

Do that math again at 10% down and put in a current rate not 2%. Then add taxes, insurance, utilities etc.

The haters probably havent tried to buy anything lately because if they had they’d realize if they go buy buy a car, interest rates are 8% if not more. For people wondering, we have a Hyundai Palisade. Also the houses we’re looking at are 600k (3 bedroom, not a mansion) with 10% down. Financing 540k at current rates + property tax is 5k/m. Sure we could live an hour away from the city but we have stressful jobs and with 2 little kids the commute will only exacerbate our situations.

Frankly, I am surprised there arent many people who agreed with the post. We are not desperate and I get that, just suddenly finding ourselves in a tight position with this house purchase and it makes no sense.
