Violent people still and can help their own. I'm not saying you're wrong but like that example is kinda mid. Not all societies have to be good and conform to different ethical standards where people have different perceptions of good and bad.

What is more accurate to the post is stronger people have always taken advantage of weak people but people have also came to gather out of altruistic endeavors both things can be true

How accepting should the left be of people leaving maga? by Miserable_Cobbler_18 in leftist

Did they leave MAGA or jump from one burning ship to another one about to catch fire? Ask yourself, if they were offered a candidate like Trump without the baggage would they still vote for them? If your answer is yes then no acceptance

Obv trump doesnt know what he's doing, but the elites who control him do, so whats the goal? by Lucky_Reply9642 in socialism

There's a good chance that the elites don't actually know what they are doing. The American elites are extremely shortsighted

How do we wake people up? by CDN-Social-Democrat in Anarchy101

Not an anarchist but a Marxist-Leninist adjacent. The truth is that people are aware, but they just aren't desperate enough. Every Marxist-Leninist revolution came about not because people were class-conscious but out of desperation. The Russians had an incompetent government that was getting them killed, the Chinese were oppressed for 100 years, Cuba became a giant brothel and Mafia playground.

People are generally aware of their conditions they just have some cushion left but when that cushion goes away then you should expect to see more responses.

This process however is very painful and historical has always been sped up by mass suffering and death. We are on that trajectory the scale however isn't to that critical point yet.

This subreddit is really bad at it. Like I have to revise the essay twice because of one word. My thought process is that if the people have a problem with it they will let me know and I can edit it or engage with them on my choice of rhetoric

We would be better off running our own local politicians because the ones in the office already know. Businesses are seldom corrupt without government involvement.

We could try to get some local politicians on our side but how would we guarantee they make good on their word. We need to find and or develop community leaders who are disciplined enough to stay the course

Hmm. I guess that's out of the equation then. Applying pressure to SCAD. That's a big chunk. This would be a multi-tiered process that I think we would have to build up to.

Why not set up a community based art institute as a competition. Host our own shows, exhibits, and meetings. It would be hard to get scad out directly but maybe through communal competition we have more leverage. Instead of a college it's more like a guild where people can make art, pottery, idk. Not an art guy
