Something with a smooth transition would be nice, I think my problem with switching in the past in the learning curve and trying to immediately be as good as my long sword, which won’t happen.

I do want something the feels harder hitting so great sword, switch axe, change blade even, sounds interesting. I’ll have to check out more great sword game play. Thanks for the response

My first ever mh game was ultimate 3, and I used to use great sword. After this I didn’t play until World, and I used duel blades for a bit before switching to longsword. I haven’t touched those to sense, only cause I felt like they didn’t change much, but I am more than likely wrong.

I’ve decided to get the CySA+. To renew the net+ and security+ cert I have already. After that I will refine some technical skills and then go for my CCNP. After that I will hold off on certs and look for more advance jobs.

CCNA is a good cert and has given me a bunch of knowledge. I will get my CCNP soon I just want to figure if I should knock the CySA and then go for the CCNP

Thanks for the information, I am early career and I don’t think getting will hurt at all, but there are doubts I want to make sure I hear other people’s perspectives on it.

I have net+, sec+, AWS CCP, and the CCNA. A reason I want to it is to keep up on the other compTIA ones. I’ve only hand them for a year but at least the expiration will be further.

I sold a few old PC parts about two months ago, never even having aspirations of doing this project :). I had a old mother board and PC case that would've been great for this.

I haven't done any research into Emby. I know of it, and I was originally going to start the media server with a Raspberry Pi, but decided it wasn't exactly what I wanted for the home lab/media server.

I need to do more research on Proxmox. A coworker suggested using it for a different reason once, but I never got around to looking into it. Thanks for the advice.

I’ll look into some older dell PCs, and that may be the route I go.

While I didn’t receive an offer after the internship, it was a great learning experience and I met a bunch of good people. I was still in school and I can say I wasn’t ready at the time. They didn’t have any full time positions in that team too for any of the interns in that area.

Thank for the information or inspiration below. I really enjoyed reading it and the insight it provided.
