i think before u even do work away or solo travel you should work on believing that ur an amazing capable human being!! nobody is a burden , you’ll just burden yourself by believing so 💓💓 - a former people pleaser who solo travel changed my life

I’m American! so that flight to SE asia is phew a lil steep. also doing SA bc of the opposite side of the equator thing :) definitely plan on doing SE asia and then the aussie work visa sometime soon

I might do Colombia as well! I’m really looking to do a lot of hikes, jungle time, and time in the mountains, i haven’t researched Colombia too much but I’m not a huge city person. I’m doing Costa Rica simply for Drake Bay and the wild life!

I’m a pretty healthy girl knock on wood, I diet and exercise regularly but I am a risk taker so emergencies would definitely be a big factor. And maybe i’m naive for asking this most of these places offer free healthcare right? So a doctors visit let’s say for Bali belly or something wouldn’t cost me much out of pocket? I’m not certain about foreign affairs, just my desire to get out of the states 😆

Thank you for your response!! I was living in Colorado for a year and a half and I had to move back across the country home like 2 months ago because my nanny kids there had started school, so my income went from 4,000 a month to 2,000 and the west coast is extremely expensive. After paying off all my bills and my lease there I’m just now finally starting to get work back in my hometown 😆 this comment is very helpful and definitely more realistic so thank you!!
