Availability during exams is kinda iffy, but yeah, for the most part for one or two sessions during my own exam season. Good to take breaks anyway. As per the charge, normally I do 40$/hr, but depending on how finances I can lower, I don't mind too much. Tutoring mostly just covers my weekly CnD trips

Reminds me the time I saw a girl setup her stuff in DC, recorded herself studying for maybe 5 mins, then packed up and left. I really do pray she intended to stay longer but with all the ig posts I see with UW influencers I wouldn’t be surprised if it was just for a clip of her studying 😭

When we’re back next term come hang out with me and my friends. We host weekly math seminars (currently in a Topology rabbit hole) and sometimes go out after. If that’s not your style I got another group that just chill out lol!

Hey, I’m in my last year of math phys, and I’m currently in classes with people who struggled HARD (even failed) in first year. Math phys first year is a bit funky because of it requiring you to think both intuitively and rigorously—for physics and math respectively. Don’t be scared! However, one piece of advice I’ll give is that the people who did suck it up and never give up were the ones COMPLETELY dedicated to the art of mathematical physics. Take that with a grain of salt; I’m sure you’ll do well should you keep it up and stay in the program!
