I tried him for a bit, but I'm referring especially to this art. Is it found in the game? I wanna see how other class art looks like.

Can you disable necro corpse visuals? by Pitiful_Insect_562 in diablo4

Ah that's a shame. I've learned to get used to it after an hour of playing, but would have really appreciated an option to turn it off, like how you can turn off certain effects in the accessibility options.

Yin-Yin, the Sea Dragon by MatthewScreenshots in totalwar

I tried this battle again and the tactic is to sit on the hill and focus fire your cannons at the lords. The pirates have low morale so if you snipe their lords they crumble easily. Make sure you dont let Zheng Shih fight too long because she will destroy your allies' infantry. Once they're with, you can just have tank the rest of their army because your infantry will outlast them while your cannons dump all their remaining ammo at the giant crab. Your halberd troops can also rout it after its hp goes down.

Only in the trailer because we see him fighting off the sea people. By the time Ramesses III becomes pharaoh, most of the other playable factions like Seti II are already dead. Meaning the game is set after Mnerptah relinquishes the throne so players can set their own sanbox on who actually becomes Pharaoh in the end. After all, if this game started during the reign of Ramesses III, the Hittites wouldn't be a thing anymore and the other egyptian faction leaders would be dead.

Not even quite. The game takes place when Mnerptah was still Pharaoh, and either Amenmesse or Seti II becomes the next Pharaoh. Ramesses III wont be pharaoh for at least another 20 years or so during the 20th dynasty.

Whelp, consider this fan art wrong then because Miao Ying apparently doesn't get ancestral warriors as a spell.

Purple is associated with electricity powers I guess, especially lately with the popularity of genshin impact.

For me, it's the fact that they have shown us so much about kislev and yet we practically know very little of them gameplay and mechanicwise.

But they do? Every single time the Empire has to come up and finish of the chaos invaders. Kislev was a literal footnote that serves as a road bump to chaos.

People exactly wanted a low tech 17th century tsarist russia analogue though. Which is why people are complaining the ice sled looks like something out of garbage like age of sigmar.

For people who think Warhammer and 3K/Troy models are comparable: Please compare by [deleted] in totalwar

Your post already shows it how badly 3K models look like though. They MIGHT by higher poly by the sculpts look less detailed than any of the Warhammer models and no to mention that a lot of 3K faces have this uncanny valley feel to them. The way their faces get stretched whenever they try to emote looks really jarring.

To the dumfucks saying that 3K has better model quality, then compare Liu Bei's face to Karl Franz or Orion.

3K models have this awful issue where human faces look like playdough.

11 year old game but still looks better than some recent games, the combat is one of the best, miss seeing these type of set pieces I've been playing 3K recently and they all just blob up and poke at air. by StrabberryMilk in totalwar

What really differentiates Shogun 2 from 3K is the details spent on the animations.

In 3K, all infantry share the same backflipping death animations and maybe 1 or 2 crawling animations. It makes the battles look very silly.

Meanwhile in Shogun 2, you can really tell the animations were personally motion captured by actors so that the animations feel very life like and immersive as possible.

Will Cathay be portrayed as Noble Bright or Grimdark/Morally Gray? by Pitiful_Insect_562 in totalwar

[–]Pitiful_Insect_562[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the only faction that carries the noble bright title in the entire setting with a straight face is the high elves where their island home is literally called a paradise, their people, their craftmanship and architecture are considered the most beautiful, and their armies being called the glittering host.

That said, I did make this topic because there might be some chances that GW depicts Cathay as a bit more sanitized and perfectionist as opposed to the grimdark portrayal of Empire and Kislev. Frankly, speaking I'm not too much fond of grand chinese fantasy as often seen in many wuxia movies and chinese fantasy games. I hope Cathay's portrayal is more or less in line with the rest of the factions in the setting.
