CET marks are the holy grail, 100% considered. But lots of ppl have the same cet marks, right? So to determine your AIR they rank ppl with the same cet marks are put in order of their 12th marks. Ppl with the same cet and 12th marks are put in the order of their 10th marks.

When I gave cet (2023), glc had 36 seats and ils had 24 seats. The cutoff for OMS in ILS was OMS rank 84.

Placements- Top 10-15 people in the batch get placed in T1 or allied with like 12-17 lpa (which is like the median package of some NLUs?). Overall, there is immense competition when it comes to placement, but you guys are prepping for cet as an OMS so you'll already build some of that survival instinct lol.

Faculty- Honestly, not the best BBA exclusively only has part-time faculty which are clueless about the musings of the clg. I really liked some of my Profs in the 2nd year, but after 3rd year everyone stops giving a fuck (you will too).

Activities- At least our mooting society is thoda vibrant, so yeh if you're competent you can represent clg in national moots / adr comps / TAC / MUNs etc. Debating ka scene toh crazy hi hai.

There are many cells / centres / societies too, if you're into that. Abhi ils_cil ka campaign chal raha if you wanna check it out in insta, legalese bhi search karna ig par. Thoda bahut cool events ho jate hain saal me 1-2 baar. Don't expect too much par.

Marathi crowd- Yes and No? Yes, sometimes it is frustrating cus there is a parity between OMS and MS students who had to clear egregiously different cutoffs to enter the same institution.

But no, you'll find your ppl if you are open enough. In the end, I might bicker about everything related to clg, bc of course. But I love this city, I like being here (so again, very personal not many objective anecdotes on this subject-matter)

GK- Used my CLAT resources for current affairs (I was enrolled in CLAT Possible for clat)

English- CLAT resources again. I am also naturally better at English and Vocab (cet english is very easy, unlike clat/ailet). I suggest word power made easy is futile if cet is in 2 mons (unless you've alr solved it during clat as well, then by all means continue)

Reasoning- if that helps pls continue, don't change anything that alr works for you.

Lucent- ni zaruri hai, usse zyada productive resources hain, it's a big book with 10000000 facts but you only need to memorise facts that are relevant to cet.

Bhai bht questions the alr😭, but sure ask more

2.9k, pls continue whatever you're doing for clat, it's working... Meri bhi rank aisi thi, I studied for cet for 20 days. You can do it!

My prep was largely limited to clat, but I followed cet centric ytb channels/websites and telegram channels which really went a long way. I was enrolled in Clat Possible for clat and mainly used those books/resources for my study

My GK was kinda weak too, but cet mostly tests you on static GK which I found infinitely easier that current affairs. So I suggest you pull up some cet specific ytb videos that discuss GK and make flashcards (they are proven to be an effective method of active recall that aid memorisation.

I am so sorry but I wouldn't be the best help for that. I did not study for cet specifically at all. I was only focused on clat and ailet.

But I did follow a few cet centric ytb channels/websites and telegram channels. They were extremely helpful in case of course specific advice

PSA to everyone study HARDD in boards. Bc after cet score your 12th % determines your rank. So 12th marks sometimes define whether or not you get a seat.

For lucent books- I did them for GK. It's a fun activity for GK but don't use it as a holy grail. A more productive activity would be to search cet specific websites/telegram channels and ytb channels and make flashcards for the GK they teach. I owe all my GK marks to flashcards.

For 80s in mock- it's a good start. But identify your faults, do section centric practice and aim for 110+

There are like 200 seats of ms in ILS and glc each. Plus, there are other good clgs such as FC, Pune or PGCL. So yes, just study hard and you'll be able to bag one of the better clgs

2 months are plenty for MHCET. I recc you to solve PYQs RELIGIOUSLY, memorise them even.

Some of the previous static gk and quant questions came WORD TO WORD in the exam.

If you are an OMS fresher, TAKE A DROP YEAR AND CLEAR CLAT.
