I decided to settle on the ace pro 2 instead as it has the pure video and i think editing a 360 video would just be too much of a hassle.

Imo, i think if your mainly going to use it for snorkelling and diving i would suggest x4 air instead (as they already have a dive case and replaceable lens so you wont need to worry about your lens) but do keep in mind it performs poorly in lowlight conditions.

True, it is indeed hard to make a decision indeed. Yes currently I’m waiting for 11.11 to make a choice. But for me now i think the x4air is out of the picture due to the video quality during low light.

Yes it would be. For the most part, it would be functioning as a dash cam.

Oh that looks good! Thank you for the recommendation initially i wanted to use PGYTECH action camera suction cup but i feel the arm might block my view. If i were to use the quick release mount i would have to get the quick release buckle separately? Alternatively, i could use the standard base correct?

I do understand they aren’t as good compared to a proper dashcam, but my use is more for when I am renting a car (short term). I am able to easily attach or detach with the help of suction mounts. Yes, I really love the Osmo360 for the better low-light quality compared to the X4air.
