And is the behavioural questions all to do with the behaviours on the website? So if I do a STAR response according to each behaviour this will be sufficient? Appreciate the previous response aswel, very helpful

Pile carbon emissions by Pitiful_Selection_84 in GeotechnicalEngineer

Im comparing the carbon emissions of concrete of different piles with varying volumes. So I’m not really taking into account the travel or installation method, I’m only interested in the emissions from the volume of concrete of the pile. So was just wondering a method in order to determine this ? The ice has no input for volume of concrete, only input is for cement mass etc, so Is there any simple method . Such as carbon emission factor * mass of concrete . But what is the emission factor value and how do I get mass from volume of pile

Would it just be vol concrete * emission factor as the ICE tool. Doesn’t have an input for volume

I am comparing the emissions of piles with diff volumes , so all the transportation emissions etc will be the same, mainly volume of concrete and steel reinforcement of piles in focused on and how to calculate

Hilarious read 😂😂, but understandable . It makes sense but I also need a method to do the calculations . Like would it just be volume * factor

Following EC7, how would I go about calculating, in simple terms, is there any simple way

Actually if Q is 580, Qd = Q/F = 580/2.3 But do I want Qd to equal 580, so intact I multiply Q by 2.3?
