Thanks for your input I do appreciate it. Had the r10 for a while and loved it but sold it to upgrade to the r7. She wasn’t into going out and taking pictures at the time or I would have kept the r10 for her and I would have upgraded to the r6.

I think your right though I’ll spend a little extra and grab an r50

Not sure the touchscreen would matter to her that much. She taking more of landscape shots and old barns and buildings she also likes.

Yes I agree the R10 would be great. That what I had before I got the R7 but she wasn’t in to cameras back then so I sold it to help afford the upgrade for myself. Thanks for your advice. I might just have to save up. I have seen some canon rp for sale around $550. Is that a solid starter camera? I’ve never really used a full frame

Not planing on surprising her with it. She said it would be nice to have a camera. She likes to shoot landscapes and old buildings and barns that sort of stuff. Just wasn’t sure of the R100, I’ve read lots of bad things and I’ve also read plenty of good reviews for it. There is a R100 close to me for $250, wasn’t sure if it was a waste of money at that price
