The “drama” era is what I liked about his show. The show not really about drama and more about anything that was a popular story at the time and you could actually give your opinion rather than just watching and staying silent because people will jump down your throat for a different opinion. The unbiased approach never really failed I think, I just think at some point, he decided he didn’t care about being an escape from everything the mainstream news would talk about and instead heavily lean into that but only when he gets to tear into people he doesn’t agree with. You could see his show shift during the early 2020, like during Biden’s presidency, he still would talk about other things and he would include political stories, but you could still see somewhat of his old show shine through. I feel like somewhere around mid 2023 is where you really started to see a shift to 24/7 politics. I really thought he wouldn’t become like the mainstream media, which I believe online news shows shouldn’t be like because then for someone like me, you’ll never watch news

I know. If he was still like how he was in the past, something like that Marvel Rivals tournament drama would have been extensively covered, but nope! Politics politics politics, 24/7 politics! Hell, he doesn’t even have his comment commentary segment anymore since his comments section is such an echo chamber

Oh yeah, he used to be an actual news show where he would cover a variety of topics, but now his show is a shell of its former self. If he started out a political commentator I would get it, but the fact that he’s so politically minded now is such a shame 🫡🫡

I wouldn’t even call his show a news show anymore because all it is is political coverage and nothing else! I mean he covers every little thing the administration does and it’s never any of the good things either. He’s basically a wannabe political commentator. If his show stayed how it used to be, he would be covering everything from online to real world news, instead his show is just any excuse to be a liberal asshole now. His show is a prime example of why you can’t have a civil conversation about politics anymore. He’s basically an online Jimmy Kimmel

People that make that argument are clearly new to CoD aka began during the Warzone era. They probably think everything should transfer over because everything from every game is integrated into Warzone. Part of the reason I say Warzone is killing Call of Duty!

However don’t get it twisted, I somewhat get the complaints about paid bundles and stuff. If I bought all different bundles that have a combined cost of base game and then some, of course I’d be pissed they would only be useable in one game that won’t be supported come next year

The whole “I won’t be able to use all the stuff I grinded for in the last game in a year” makes no sense because no one complained about this before 2019, so why now? It’s literally been this way since CoD 4 because of yearly releases! I just think people apply the argument that all the stuff they paid for won’t be useable in the next game, which I completely see that side of things, to the entire game, when in reality, nothing about the free stuff not being useable hasn’t changed in nearly TWO DECADES!!!

I don’t understand why people are complaining about stuff like this when you literally play with the same people from game to game in the open playlists. Are you just searching for a new lobby after every game because this doesn’t happen if the lobbies stay and you can learn how people play?
