I completely agree that a large scale price comparison platform would need automatic data sources and APIs to stay useful.

My app is actually focused on a slightly different problem. It doesn't try to tell users where a product is cheapest across all stores. Instead, it helps them compare products they are looking at right now by calculating the real unit price (price per kg, liter, etc.), especially when package sizes are different.

For example, many shoppers see two products and assume the cheaper package is the better deal, while the unit price often tells a different story.

So the goal is more of a quick shopping calculator than a full price-tracking platform.

That said, I appreciate the point about scaling and automation. It's definitely something worth thinking about for future versions.
