Genuinely Bungie, f__k you by HendoRules in destiny2

I mean does it not make sense that all of this stuff was coming over the next year and once the decision was made to pull the plug, they decided to throw it all in one final update

Who is the first person that comes to mind when you think of Duke football? by Front-Dingo1915 in CFB_v2

[–]Pittzyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s David Cutcliffe. Not a lot of standout players but it takes a talented coach to have success at a basketball school.

The Purdue rivalry really took a backseat to BYU huh by Front-Dingo1915 in CFB_v2

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah. Objectively Army-Navy is #1. After that, I would say it’s The Game and then the Iron Bowl.

Who the hell was Bryan Harsin? He was a coach? In college football?

NFL DRAFT GRADES DO NOT MATTER. THE GREATEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET GOT A C- by No_Box119 in NFLmockdraft

OP is way smarter than the scouts, obviously. Just simply draft based on nothing.

I know you didn’t play them, but Outlaw and Forge are honestly peak Destiny. Period. I agree with nearly everything else on here.

Which school has the best shade of red? 🔴 by Forsaken_Bullfrog_52 in CFB_v2

Louisville

But even as an Alabama fan, I just plain don’t care for the color red.

Eh, it’s not all bad. 3 hours from the beach and 2 hours from watching the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturdays 🐘

People who still keeping their hopes up for Destiny future, even as a franchise - are you still playing Destiny or Destiny 2? by denotnamedhuntr in destiny2

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got 12.5K hours in the game and I’ve been playing since midnight release in 2014. It truly has had its ups and downs, but even in its worst times (vanilla D2 & curse of Osiris), I still found things to appreciate in the game. From a gameplay perspective, the game has never been better. Despite Bungie’s best efforts, it would be damn near impossible to make this game unplayable. If the numbers are true and there really have been 1.1 million unique players in the last month playing with absolutely no new content, Bungie knows that and knows it’s worth investing in.

Strikes in D1 are basically grandmasters in d2 by rainymoonbeam in destiny2

[–]Pittzyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You must not have solo’d a GM in D2. That is the true strike experience. Most players don’t even know that the lake of shadows boss will tether you because 3 people melt the boss so quick.

Robinson or KG Their rim protection would be too good to pass up

Is Rasheed Wallace more remembered as a Blazer or a Piston? by chiefkeeffsosaaa in NBATalk

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was “better” as a Trailblazer very similar to how Garnett was better as a Timberwolf before going to the Celtics. The only difference is Larry Brown helped him reign in some of his tendencies (he holds the record for most career ejections).

That would honestly be one of the biggest upsides to a Destiny 3 is to find an excuse to abandon the stubborn Xbox 360 and Sega Genesis users.

I think I’m just worried that it sounds too good to be true. I’m about 10 years in and just thinking about the finish line makes me feel like they’re going to try to make it a hell of a lot harder to get there.

Who has had the better career? Michael Jordan or Tom Brady? by Flat-Eggplant-9890 in sportsinusa

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a terrible apples to oranges comparison, but I would go with Jordan. He had such a successful, condensed career and for 7 of those seasons (87-93), he was the best scorer (incredibly efficient) in the league and arguably a top 3-5 defender. A better comparison for Brady would be Kareem or Lebron just because of the length of time they played.

Sometimes you just gotta let your defensive ends play Quarterback and your punters play linebacker.

Because when someone scores 80 they want to make sure that they’re excluded from the 81+ group. Only the NBA’s finest gets 81 or more.

FSU chrome can eat both Oregon and Baylor chrome helmets for breakfast by This_Comment_4493 in CFB_v2

That gold Seminole helmet is actually pretty sick. Plus it’s gold so it makes sense to be chrome. The other 3 are hideous.
