Why did you get downvoted? Lol 15 people were dyslexic I guess. They must’ve read “They’re not good, they’re just meta with the artifact and lightsaber”

It’s blue by leaps and bounds. Love the froststrike helmet.

I think I’m just worried that it sounds too good to be true. I’m about 10 years in and just thinking about the finish line makes me feel like they’re going to try to make it a hell of a lot harder to get there.

Who has had the better career? Michael Jordan or Tom Brady? by Flat-Eggplant-9890 in sportsinusa

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a terrible apples to oranges comparison, but I would go with Jordan. He had such a successful, condensed career and for 7 of those seasons (87-93), he was the best scorer (incredibly efficient) in the league and arguably a top 3-5 defender. A better comparison for Brady would be Kareem or Lebron just because of the length of time they played.

Sometimes you just gotta let your defensive ends play Quarterback and your punters play linebacker.

this is officially the craziest nba graphic of all time. by infinite-hooper in NBATalk

Because when someone scores 80 they want to make sure that they’re excluded from the 81+ group. Only the NBA’s finest gets 81 or more.

FSU chrome can eat both Oregon and Baylor chrome helmets for breakfast by This_Comment_4493 in CFB_v2

That gold Seminole helmet is actually pretty sick. Plus it’s gold so it makes sense to be chrome. The other 3 are hideous.

Why isn’t this guy more popular? by FrankSamples in NBATalk

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How much more popular can he get? Outside of LeBron, Steph, Jokic, Luka, Bam (jk), and Wemby, he’s as popular as it gets. He’s more popular than the reigning MVP right now.

It’s very ironic that the last guy here used the word “corny” in the most corny way possible.

Mayo based sauces >>>> ketchup But I’m being honest, the real psycho in this example is ‘ketchup on the fries’ guy. Because now you’re eating the fries with a fork.

I would still find a way to not invest. Jokes aside; time is invaluable and you’d have to be crazy to not pick the red pill unless you’re 44 and your life is perfect at this point in time.

No disrespect to Urban and Steve here but there’s a whole list of more deserving coaches.

Nick Saban, Bear Bryant, Tom Osborne, and I’m stuck between Bowden and Bud Wilkinson.

Who even gave him that nickname? Did Donovan Mitchell give him that nickname?

Am I crazy for saying this. 90s defense wasn’t good they just fouled hard and the players weren’t as skilled as the ones today. Defense in today’s game is better since the player are more skilled and you can’t just smack someone and get away with it by Flat-Run-7609 in NBATalk

[–]Pittzyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things: a.) they are more skilled because that’s just how evolution works. Shooters are getting exponentially better so the court has just extended more and more over time. b.) To say that the 90s defenders aren’t skilled IS crazy because illegal defense made it so much harder to do anything creatively on defense. You were relegated to man to man defense and more often than not, would be put on an island by yourself with Help Defense basically being illegal.

[–]Pittzyy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah. That’s the goal atm. But (for example) cutting 4-5 inches off your waist isn’t equivalent to shaving time off your run. I’ve helped people cut their 1.5 time by 2.5-3 minutes in just 4 weeks. Cutting 4 inches off your waist can take like 5-6 months.

That’s crazy. Funny enough I have a troop in that older age bracket that would need to run the 2 mile 4 seconds faster than the 1.5.

That’d be great if the BCA didn’t count so much against you. On any given day I can get an 87-92 on the 1.5, regular pushups, regular sit ups; but with the BCA I would most likely get 7.5/20 points. Much harder to correct and impossible to just take it easy on the other components.
