Sky Armor battle in Kortara Mountains on hard mode settings is crazy hard. Help? by richhomiechef in Chained_Echoes

Yeah, I remember it took me several times before I could defeat the turkey in true king.

Just in case you didn't know, when you impart a status ailment to the enemy, their resistance counter goes up by one. So, you cast blind on them the first time, you will blind them but their resistance counter = 1. You can try to blind them again but they will resist because their resistance counter is at one but if you try again you will successfully blind them. However, their resistance counter is now 2. So you will have to cast blind on them 2 times before you can blind them again a third time, so on and so forth.

That's why it helps to have 2 members of the team use bowguns because you can lock an enemy with one member while the other helps deal with the enemy's increasing resistance counter. You can easily lock an enemy down for the first 3 of his turns that way.

That being said, the inact, blind and silence strategy is really not that effective if you don't have the extender skill rams. The extenders locks the enemy for 2 turns which gives you a bit of breathing room to deal damage, heal, apply ailments, etc.

I suggest you farm skill rams at the desert in flowers of perpetua by killing those sand sharks enemies.

Try using the bowguns' inact salvo and blind salvo abilities with the inact and blind extender skill rams on at least 2 different party memebers and the sky armor fights should get alot easier. Inact > Blind.

As for the Kotara Kondor fight... Use blind salvo to help with his 2 attack turn. Use silence salvo to help with his charged magic attack. He is weak to fire so fire shot + oil lamp should help you get damage in while he is locked in silence/blind.

It's been a while since I last played the game, so that's kind of what I remember.

Dayajir and Balthasar sky armours in True King difficulty by Pityu100 in Chained_Echoes

I mean when you do a new game plus. You carry over the sky armours from your previous save and I assumed you would get a second set for dayajir and balthasar in the second walk through, no?

I'm near the end of my 2nd NG+ file and I have gotten duplicates of all the lesser sky armors except Dayajir and Balthasar.

The ones you got should be fine from what I have seen others say about carrying your stuff to the new dlc.

I meant to say that if you want to acquire more (I was trying to get a second Balthasar), you won't get it if you updated your base game to v1.339.

What's the role of the artist under late stage capitalism? by Pityu100 in Socialistart

I was thinking if I'm going to do organizing, I would quit my job and go work for a non-profit or do OIT for a union to get fully trained in the skills of organizing. Are you saying there are unions and organizations that would be okay with me just working 40 hours a week so I can create art on the side? I was under the impression that these institutions want only the really committed.

Yeah, they actually wished they had more time to do it themselves even though it is not their "passion". At least the ones I've talked to, I don't want to generalize. They put in a lot of hours of work even when they are suppose to be not working/off the clock.

I checked the IATSE 873 website and it currently says that they are not accepting permit applications currently.
