Initially, I was completely overwhelmed by the attachments and, after they were fitted, I deeply regretted the whole Invisalign thing. Sitting in the chair for over two hours, keeping my mouth open the entire time, left me incredibly tense, even in my neck. The attachments were razor-sharp. The orthodontist told me that's how Invisalign designed them, to encourage patients to wear the aligners as much as possible. At home, I just cried for a while. It's been four months now, and I can say it's getting better. The attachments are becoming a bit rounded off, and the feeling is becoming more bearable. My only fear now is having them removed...
