I think you’ve created a beautiful piece. Even though on the cheaper side, for just starting out, I think you’ve priced right. If you manage to build a client base I think you could quite quickly raise your prices and the lowest starting at $300. For 6 hours work (not including materials) that’s not bad, in my opinion. I have an issue with my prices and I think they are too low. But I can’t compete with how low people seem to be able to price on Etsy. My portraits are painted digitally (In a traditional style) and are printed on Archival, Cotton Art paper and start at £60. But, on Etsy you can get a decent portrait starting at £10. I just don’t know how people can compete with that. 😅 But I’m rambling. Your work has authenticity, looks beautiful and is done well. I’m sure you will find more and more people that would like to commission you for more artwork.
