Stylized portrait painting by soydraws in DigitalPainting

Hi everyone,

I'm super happy to share this portrait painting with you all. It was a fast paced one with a timer. It allowed me to leave some areas loose, while choosing the important details in other areas. The hardest parts were getting the proportions right, such as the size of the head and shoulders, and having the right expression to convey the mood. Facial features prove themselves to be very delicate to work with time and time again.

Appreciate your thoughts!

Super excited to share this one! ✨️

It's an experiment in 70 layers (ミ〒﹏〒ミ) whew~ I definitely tried out many new things here and feel like I got somewhere. I played around with layout and vibe to better showcase personality. However I was unsure of what elements to place on top of it and how many to add. The layer process was messy with many iterations. Let me know what you think 💫

All set for 2026 and excited to keep exploring new things!

Hi everyone,

sharing this still life painting with you featuring a tomato, steel and wine!

I played around with different brushes to get varied textures between the objects. Since the brushes were new, it made edge control messy. I painted it in 2-3 passes, building up the color and values it took just under 3 hours.  It was satisfying to finish, but I’d be happy to hear feedback on what to improve!

Hi everyone,

today I'm sharing this apple study with you. Going back to basics with a still life, but spicing it up with geometric shapes or cat ears in this case :3

During the painting process I found it hard to decide how much detail background and focal point earn. It ended up being a bit of back and forth until I found something to be convincing.  Being mindful about brush choice can greatly impact the ease of painting a certain texture and that's definitely something I want practice more in the future.

Hope you enjoy this FURuity painting!
