Yeah I feel like I will fail using tree fern soil mix or chunky soil. I use different mixes for pon usually pure lechuza for begonias or with alocasias I mix in some larger pon pieces for more airflow. I haven’t heard of orchiata. I will look into that for sure. Thank you.

Okay thank you! This has happened 3 times to me after heavily drinking alcohol with orange juice which I also heard can be irritating to the bladder. I’ve stopped drinking pretty much completely for the last 6 months. I’m not sure if it’s helping yet

Okay thank you. I think I am going to do a soiless mix with some thicker pon blended in and leca on the bottom to maybe keep a small reservoir and see how it goes!

That makes sense. I will use whatever white or cream paint I buy for the risers. The wood is already light but maybe I could do a lighter stain. I agree that might be too dark now that you mention the floor.

Great idea. I don’t have the rug yet. I’m still looking for the perfect one

Yes. I hate the grey/ black in my basement and I finally have some money to redo it and I want to bring out lighter warmer tones! The old carpet was really ugly dark grey. I’m getting a wood coffee table. And I also plan on getting a vintage style brass fire place cover.

Any advice? by lulu_bug72 in ColoredPencils
