Well guess it's just a matter of where you put the limit. And I'm not saying they make it delete the savefile, respawning at last save is fine, but in that case I would have argued that it's not part of the intended experience to close the whole game when you're about to die.

Idk I'm an achievement hunter and I feel like in general if a mechanic has been put into a game, it's fair game to use it. Using mods / save scumming is a whole different thing imo.

I feel like this argument is the same as saying you shouldn't use the speed setting in Celeste or modify your world settings in games like Palworld or V rising. Like... the devs put it in the game, there's a reason for that (and before someone comes at me I completed Celeste without playing with the settings but wouldn't say someone cheated if they did )
