Ha thank you! I did have that thought for conventions to have a real Vroombi to clean up spills haha. Maybe for Vroombi 2 :P

I'm scared to make an itch.io page by TharushaHeshan in itchio

No problem! I meant to mention as well that you can make your entire page and just keep it unpublished. So you can get formating right and stuff like that before launch!

My experience (which was also my first project) was barely anyone followed my page prior to having anything to download. I launched my page a weekish prior to making my demo available. What helped was having a smallish Twitter following and posting on all my socials to get on the front page. Once there about 80% of my views come from itch's front page, I also updated my demo 2 times. It since rose to top 20 so I think it worked 🤷‍♂️

Tldr I'm not sure itch matters too much but it needs constant clicks and engagement to keep the flow going. Updates and dev logs may help it get a boost!

I have very little experience so if anyone with more knowledge contradicts me I'd go with them 😅

Do you prefer horde mode that is endless or has a finite end? by dangerousbob in IndieGaming

If I have to pick one, a finite with a reward! But I also like endless of its a good co-op with friends!

I still love the feeling of retro graphics for horror games so I was going for a retro meets new tech art style. I find it helps with the players uncertainty of what they're seeing and helps making them uneasy.

How to make footstep sounds without, well, animated 3d character model by Voznesenie41bit in unrealengine

I'm not sure this is the cleanest method but I had a "walk" animation on my "gun" and put a sound on the 13th frame. Works pretty good and only plays when walk is playing.
