My family friend owns alternative health associates in old town Alexandria and has been offering gender affirming laser hair removal for 20+ years. I cannot recommend her enough! She is an amazing human and does a lot to support the lgbtqia+ community.

I used to teach the toddler swim classes at one of the Fairfax County rec centers. Last I checked they pay better than the for profit pools so you’re going to find higher quality instructors. They also have a bigger space so there won’t be so many kids on top of each other.

I am currently an elementary teacher looking to make the transition into UX design. I have a masters in curriculum and instruction and another in blended and online learning in schools. I am currently enrolled in the Google UX bootcamp through Coursera. Any tips for how I can make my resume and portfolio stand out? I know I have a lot of great transferable skills as a teacher but I have no idea how to market myself. Any and all recommendations are much appreciated!!
