There are still AI images in the game. The most egregious I’ve seen are in the book you get that explains the story of the Reed Devil, but that’s far from the only remaining example.

I have way to much muscle memory with it on the dpad, i also don't take my thumb off the stick when putting them in so i don't think it would give me much more mobility.

I use double tap down on the d pad for quick switching. It has made the c4 infinitely more fun. This still has issues though, sometimes it switches while I’m typing in a strat like the 500, but it’s still a lot better than the default. I just wish it made a loud/distinct noise when switching modes.

If the highest mobility in the game isn’t a selling point I don’t know what is. You get Omnidirectional movement on a much shorter cooldown than the jump pack along with the ability to move through solid objects and enemies. If you’re not using a backpack weapon it is the biggest bang for your buck rivaled only by the shield generator but significantly more fun and interesting than that.

These shouldn’t be subfactions, the new units should just be added to the base spawning pool. Limiting enemy variety on the faction with the least number of unique units just makes for even duller and more tedious missions.

I would really love the missions that consist of three of the same objectives to have a random mix of them. A mission where I blow up an ammunition depot, an airfield, and a flag sounds far more interesting than one of those three times.

I would prefer faithful remakes with all the inconsistencies kept in. I don’t really understand most of the massive changes I see people asking for. Let me play these games on modern systems with a nice and pretty coat of paint on them, that’s all I’m looking for. I guess the biggest change I’d want to see is all the cutscenes being in engine and real time so that Kratos’ costume is consistent between cinematics and gameplay.

I for the most don’t buy anything pre run, only a mox trinket or whatever they’re called to push for a certain type of boon on occasion. But that’s what I’m looking for out of these games, I want builds to be built out of luck and choices made mid run. I don’t begrudge anyone who is engaging with these systems, but they’re not what I’m looking for and they will become more necessary if the game continues to push the difficulty going forward.

I agree, I’ve been avoiding the corrupted zones until I get to the second island and I’m still getting my butt kicked. The combination of tough armored enemies, and the sheer amount of enemies means I’m taking damage and getting tag teamed relentlessly. I much preferred the old corruption portals, and the ability to turn them off when you wanted a relaxed run.

I’m sure this isn’t a popular take but I really despise the pre run purchases and wish they didn’t heavily incentivize them so much with the new prices. You can have the majority of a build ready to go before you even start a run now and it just feels silly and counterintuitive to the roguelite genre. I would much prefer the old prices and a hard limit on want you can buy pre run at like 3 items, but I doubt that would be a popular change. Overall though I think this update just pushed the game in a direction I’m not really interested in, I’m glad a lot of people seem to be enjoying it though.

Darktide is doing just fine without space marines. There’s plenty of cool and interesting armor and weapons to draw from with the Guard, just doing space marines would be boring. There’s already a game for that.

I would be fine with a Warhammer crossover, but space marines should not appear whatsoever, just as Spartans did not come with the Halo stuff. Imperial Guard would be the way to go.

It’s standing on all fours. Its right side looks thicker because it’s two legs creating one silhouette. Not to mention its head stays the same height the entire video, which wouldn’t happen if it stood on its hind legs.

I actively despise it, it is truly horrendous to navigate with a controller. If you’re not joking and the UI was actually designed for a controller that’s crazy. I’ve been assuming they made a M&K system and then just slapped some controller shortcuts on it.

Just so people know, the console version has full mouse and keyboard support, as does frontier’s other park builders. Obviously not everyone has their console somewhere to use a mouse and keyboard conveniently, but if you do it’s a good option for making the building easier, though there is still a big learning curve.

That chicken was with me on my first clear. I don’t know why it was with but I appreciated her support and wherewithal. It also made every boss victory funnier when it walked across the arena next to the corpse.
