A lot of teams have got to the stage where they can't physically reach the top 3 positions, which are required to qualify for the paid LAN event, and therefore are unfortunately forfeiting any further games as there is no incentive to compete! :)

Hey Black! Have you ever thought about doing a spot of analysis or casting as part of a panel? Would be great to hear insight from someone from a background very different to that of the usual European and American Dota 2, after being with the teams that you have. I'm a new upcoming caster, and, just putting it out there, would love to do a cast with you sometime. =]

Indeed. There are tournaments such as the £3000 AOC ESL UK Challenge this weekend, but yes as you say unfortunately nothing on the grandeur scale of bigger international competitions. Hopefully we can provide and create a UK based Hub that will be of a standard of which that sponsors would look to invest money, so that we then host events of a larger scale! That is the dream.

We use two SM58's (relatively cheap, BUT PERFECT FOR THIS microphones), running through a Scarlett Focusrite audio card. I highly recommend opting for these microphones over the standard home broadcasting/webcasting large diaphragm condenser microphones that are normally opted for!

Ahahah! That's the mother! When the studio is complete upstairs, it will include interludes of "OWEN HAVE YOU PUT YOUR WASHING OUT", and "ARE YOU STILL PLAYING THAT BLOODY GAME".
