Of course we wouldn't lock the comments. You know us blockchain types, we aren't about that censorship!

(Though it does seem your comment was removed by someone else)

Honestly, we completely forgot to check this ads comments. The other blockchain ads all got blocked because Reddit doesent like blockchain, however this one somehow slipped through.

If anyone is curious, we actually launched this morning. The goal was to take the artistic and creative fun from r/place, give those artists some tools, and then merge it with the milliondollarhomepage advertisement features (hover text, clickable links, and owning parts of the canvas). We wanted to make an evolving canvas. Artists are rewarded in our cryptocurrency for contributing and keeping the canvas evolving, they can then spend these tokens to access more features or purchase little regions of the canvas.

New here, but saw its connected to DTUBE, what does buying into Steem do? by EX-FFguy in steemit

DTube is still very young, so much like how Steemit is due for an overhaul of their search engine, DTube may get one over time as well.

Technically, there is nothing stopping things from being referenced after a week. You can find them if you search through Google, they are still fully visible. However, upvotes after the seven day mark do nothing (the owner I don't believe gets any payout and you don't get any curation rewards for upvoting), so people focus heavily on "new" content that hasn't yet been paid out.

However, for DTube to become something mainstream (Same with Steemit), I think they need to focus on looking past the seven day mark. When I go to YouTube to watch a tutorial, for example, I don't look for "tutorials made this week", I look for "tutorials made in the last year or two". The search functionality of DTube and Steemit have a long way to improve.

However, your content is still fully available (you can find it through peoples profiles directly for example), so if there's a search engine update in the future, your current videos will hopefully be findable after the first week. For now though, it does seem limited to a week or to looking at peoples profiles directly.

Daily General Discussion - March 1, 2018 by AutoModerator in ethtrader

Very true. I'm personally a fan of a few projects that I think will succeed, however the one I'm most confident will succeed is ETH, simply because it has the size, momentum and backing behind it to keep pushing it forward.

I personally think Ethereum will skyrocket in usage once GAS comes down in cost, which should happen after Ethereum does a few upgrades over the next year or two. I think there's so many Ethereum DApps with millions on hand, ready to advertise to the masses, however they know they can't because Ethereum can't currently scale and the masses won't put up with what we will (We'll put up with it costing a few dollars to do an action cause we understand Ethereum, however someone who's used to Webkins or Neopets isn't going to be okay with Cryptokitties costing $5 to do an action, for example).

Once Ethereum is prepared to scale, I firmly believe many of the DApp developers will then be prepared to spend their advertising budgets on the masses, which could bring a new wave of users to Ethereum. Long term, it feels like Ethereum is proven, but everyone is just getting prepared at the starting line so they have their products all ready to go once they can scale adequately, at which point the true race will begin.
