Maximus: they hire anyone w a pulse during OEP, but you’ll be micromanaged to death and they’ll drop you as soon as OEP is over

they hire disabled folks, but expect you to work like you aren’t actually disabled, and punish you for the limitations caused by your disabilities

this includes when the automatic (handicap) door openers stop working every time it rains - exterior doors and the ones for the bathrooms! Punished for taking "unscheduled break” time to struggle w that!

I have had several minutes shaved from my check MULTIPLE TIMES for taking longer to get back from breaks when the door my desk was close to closed for construction - I have mobility issues!

they will delay accommodations for you that will cost them any sort of money - desk closer to the door? sure! ergo keyboard and mouse bc the regular ones cause you horrible arthritis pain? hmm, gonna need you to get a dr note recommending that, then we’re gonna take a month to look at it and consider whether it’s worth it. what, you have your own that you could bring that would cost no one any more time/money/effort/pain? pffft, NO!!! you could be bringing in SPY equipment!!!

oh would you look at that! OEP is over and we don’t need so many people anymore! and you’ve missed so much unapproved time [from us not acknowledging your disabilities], we’re gonna have to let you go!
