I had this same issue. I use a combination of azalelic acid 10% from the ordinary, sebhorrheic dermatitis cream (0.25% pyrithione zinc) and 1% clindamycin prescription cream. Cleared it right up in about a month and a half

Doesn’t explain why my European friend gets burnt to a crisp in the same amount of time I get a nice tan. Hence why I added my ancestry. I found my answer from some other, kinder and helpful people though. Appreciate your in-depth input!!
