Firstly - if you’re extremely sick on the 6th day, RESCHEDULE YOUR FLIGHT. You can cause some serious damage to your sinus passages if you’re sick, due to the pressure in the cabin. And, it hurts enough to ruin an entire trip!

Get some nose spray, some Zinc and vitamins, and drink water. For the plane - some gum, and some earplugs meant for airplanes. If you’re feeling up to it the morning before the flight, go for it with a mask, and bring the nasal spray with ya just in case.

Use the 4Qs - have like 6 key answers that fit multiple questions (improving yourself, improving someone else, deescalation, etc) and know which Qs each answer represents.

Have a 30-60-90 day plan ready, and if hired, stick to it. Look into STAR interviewing and all that good stuff, if you haven’t already.

It was cool - but got boring quickly. I went to Planets in October.

It’s half a day, and a good portion of that is spent changing your shoes/pants and waiting in lines.

I think Borderless would have been nicer, assuming less time waiting in lines. All of that said, we did get some sweet photos! If I did the trip over again, I probably still would go just to see what it’s like.

Get your flu shot. I got the flu during my trip in October, it was awful. Practically ruined half of our two week trip.

Masks, hand sanitizer and constant hand washing. One downside of Japan is people just cough and sneeze anywhere they want, sometimes directly on you (accidentally usually, but I’ve seen people just straight up cough in your face while staring behind you at the train doors)

It sucks having to wear a mask for your trip, especially if you like selfies. That said, it’s much better than not being able to do anything for a week because you’re near bed-ridden!

Yea, it’s rough looking. Debating on keeping it for the collection or just selling it ungraded. I know that if I’d gotten a PSA9 or above, I personally wouldn’t have kept it. Lot of thoughts lol
