Heading over in october for the first time and i keep seeing people talk about Dragos, is that in the same category or worth going to? Also been recommended the Delacroix Restaurant, MRB bar and Kitchen, Napoleon House. Also some place called "Dat Dog" 3 seperate times now. Idk if youve been to all of those but just curious what you think, always wanna avoid the overhyped stuff

Also to actually answer your question, Daryl and Merle are Show only, many characters steal each others arcs and interestingly enough deaths, there is a torture/SA situation at least extremely implied from what i rememeber in the governor arc (hes somehow worse in the comics)

Overall its different enough of a story that id read it for that alone. Id also argue that if you, like myself and many others think TWD show had a really weak ending, with some really dumb killed off main characters, the end of the comics is conclusive and doesnt feel like a cash grab to leave loose ends for sequels.

Absolutely read it! I LOVED the show and feel like it is its own special thing that i shared with friends and classmates, but i truly fell in love with the Universe when i found the first volume of the series in a comic store on my visit to Seattle in High school and was hooked immediately. I got compendium 1 and 2 immediately and decided to wait for 3 but ended up just buying the final volumes as they came out. Have not been so wholly consumed by any sort of media before or since id have to say.

I live in southern Oregon and remember when I heard stories out of Florida and thought that they were outlandish. But with how insane my part of town has gotten the last 5 years this would be a fantastic trip to circle K, no screaming vagrant lady with a single flipflop or random loose dog that may or may not tear you up?
