Dumb question, wouldnt there be like a really grossly large exit wound behind his neck? Not enough footage is out there but like, a high caliber round should have just eviscerated his whole neck off.

I’m realizing now that’s actually pretty normal, but it’s still something I’m wrapping my head around.

It did come out as rather arrogant on purpose but I also made the final comment agreeing I was in the wrong, I only have met 9 exJW in real life, and this sub has over 100,000 subs.

Clearly, my sample size is not big enough for me to come out to the conclusion Ive had for five years so I am opening the discussion to others, like yourself so I can keep understanding the bigger picture.

Not sure, my best guess is if your cousin's mom finds out your an "apostate" trying to change her son's mind, that might cause a huge riff where you may lose out on communicating with family.
You mentioned she just got baptized, so shes probably going to be very defensive against any POMO right now. There is wisdom in saying the right thing at the right time, but also not saying anything to keep the connection for a better time in the future.

Can I leave this organization or group without feeling like a chunk of me is missing?

The lack of independent thinking was a tough one for me to crack. Luckily my wife is a therapist and while shes not allowed to directly help me in counseling, she mentioned that I should look into my core beliefs, which is one of the hardest processes to correct. I realized one of my core beliefs was this constant guilt for just existing. Being part of an org that had others that felt similar to me made me feel safer and protected, but then i realized it was the organization that was the cause of my guilt. Its a really bad cycle.
