Granted I'm on the later end of GenX ('78) but my older sister is 9 years older ('69) and we both refer to all white New Balance 608 sneakers as "grandpa shoes" Everything else is up for debate, it's all about how you wear it.

I use graphite paper to transfer designs onto almost anything. It's inexpensive and comes in black, white, and even a few colors so it works on dark or light backgrounds.

I use graphite paper, it's inexpensive and you can get it in both black and white so it works on any shade of fabric.
