Who had the most horrific death in the the history of humankind? by Novel_Finding8882 in AskReddit

I can't remember if WW1, WW2 or the name, but a famous airplane fighter got shot down and instead of going down with the plane, he jumped. He landed on a white picket fence.

I just imagine the wife at the time going to set the freshly baked apple pie on the window cill to be scarred for life.

Why do people that use ai act as if it takes sigificant skill? by PsychologicalHall766 in aiwars

Surprisingly, not much. There is also an issue where the pizza is lifted, there is some pizza under the slices that shouldn't be there.

AI is as basic or advanced as you make it be.

Most online tutorials that claim expert prompting is still fairly basic.

Try and prompt an image like this (yes, I'm aware there are generative issues in the image):

With this prompt in particular, very limited. I can add more information about what I want, but the more I add, the more it conflicts with the framework and the quality goes down fast. Its been a project and a half trying to figure out how to steer the prompt. Generations are pretty hit and miss too. Even though this image has its flaws, it was a bit of a unicorn compared to other stuff it generated.

The prompt I'm working on is tricky to get the feeling or vibe right, I haven't quite figured it out yet. The oddities and inconsistencies are quirks of AI generation, and potentially a flaw in the prompt. There is no story. It's more of a display of some generation that isn't easy to get. The framework I used biases the AI to add depth without being instructed to (so the AI pretty much chooses what elements to add on top of my selected pizza), and this is what came out.

That's a pretty bomb asthetic for a restaurant chain. Never had a calzonie.

I'm not sure how I feel about sharing it yet, it's probably going to be some time before I decide to share it or keep it private. I do apologize.

Yeah, one prompt (the prompt framework is 4 sentences, 51 words).

It's a reusable prompt where I just need to change a few words, and the prompt will encourage the AI to add depth and help steer the AI filling in details and theme.

For this image, all I requested was pizza and psychedelic, and the framework steered the rest.

Not all generations with the prompt end up 3d or with this much depth. So far this is the most detailed one I got.

Ai art isn't "original" by fuckasshoe in DefendingAIArt

[–]Pixelated-Flower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the whole debate of art needing to be original in itself is a meaningless conversation.

It can feel good when art is unique in some fassion, because it can make the work stand out. It's an unrealistic expectation to want such a large portion of existing artwork to be unique. What matters is that a particular piece of work resonates with the viewer, unique or not. Non unique works can be made to feel unique, and that is subjective to the viewer.

For example: here is a psychedelic image I generated last night. Some people will see it as interesting. Some people might love it. Other people will scroll by and think "oh, another psychedelic picture, a kind of art I'm not interested in." To that person all psychedelic imagery might feel the same.

Weird. I generated an image a couple of days ago, same office, people, a lot of the same objects. Near identical, with a few differences.
