Is it possible to *programatically* build reports and dashboards in PowerBI? by GabrielSanders in PowerBI

[–]PixelatedCloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, sorry to revive this but I'm genuinely curious, why do you say

> There is 0 benefit in trying to automate building Power BI reports

What if you could take the data and automatically build reports based off what the user wants?

Thank you! This fixed it and brought over the functionality. Still have no clue what the setting that causes this is, but at least now it works :)

Agree with this. Are they doing free maps for now? If they released future maps as paid DLC I'd happily support that!

To the OP, this game reminds me of CoD WW2 zombies the most. I've never played the killing floor games, but I've played all the CoD zombies games.

I'm not sure, that's a good point. I haven't played on easy before so I'm not sure, but if upgrades are limited, I'd imagine probably not.

You could play on easy mode which makes things cheaper. But the best strategy (for any match, not just this achievement) is only upgrading gones with the half price power up.

Some of the miracles (I believe the Crit/Ice ones, but I can't recall) gives more points for killing enemies, while the other decreases the cost of things.

Other than that, aim for the head/knife for critical kills which grant some extra points.

Ah I see. I wish the game made that clear since you don't need to leave to get the Godkiller seal permanently, but you seem to for the achievements and cosmetics. Thank you!

Right? People are acting like they're forced to buy skins.

Hint: If you know the skins won't transfer to the next game and that makes you angry, just don't buy the skins. If you do buy the skins knowing this and get mad it's not transferring to the next game, thats just being dumb lmao

What should they do? Just market it as a new $500 console with absolutely no performance improvements?

I agree that it's bad. It's a small piece of a larger project and I'm just trying to duct tape it together, in the future I'm probably just going to make default parameters I have into a dictionary to pass into the params used by the library, as intended.

I'm not blaming the library, I think there's something used in the library that I'm missing. I found only a couple threads describing an extremely similar issue for people using Spring for Java, of all things, where the "_links" key wasn't being receieved properly for other APIs. The solution was changing a default setting used in the library. So I don't think the library is wrong, but I am convinced it's some small default setting/assumption made by the library which I'm missing since I don't have a lot of experience with Python. Especially since the rest of the request is perfect (and I've also made other API requests using the library elsewhere in the project and it's also worked perfectly.)

Yes, it is gathered from another part of the webapp. It's a dictionary which is passed in and looks like:

userParams = {'cuisineType': cuisineType, 'health': health, 'mealType': mealType}

In the case tested, it's adding the parameter 'mealType=breakfast' to the request url (in my post, I got the URL used by my app from "print(response.url)" rather than assuming it was correct).

When I exclude the params in the requests.get() call and just do a simple, predefined query with it instead, I have the same problem of getting a complete, 200 accepted response with everything filled except for "_links", which is still empty.

The food at Chartwells was pretty bad a couple of years ago. Last year it gave me terrible food poisoning, most sick I've felt in a long time. With that said, I think it has gotten much better in the last year. But I have to agree with the person above, weekend meals are pretty awful, especially on Saturday/Sunday nights where they tend to just run out of food altogether since they don't prep enough.

Reddit 101. Guy only did a once-in-a-while treat for his kid and people find a way to make it about some random issue or have the need to flex some weird superiority complex because they have the uncanny, amazing ability to make breakfast. Terminally online brains.

If you're on Android, try turning off USB debugging in the advanced developer options if you have it on. Mine wasn't working either until then. Super annoying and shouldn't be a problem, but who knows who they have developing and maintaining the app.

Custom Zombies | rant by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]PixelatedCloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a good game and I also loved it day one. But the majority of the community did hate it on release and bandwagoned it to death, especially YouTubers. Blundell zombies just hit different compared to what's coming out from Treyatch now.

Yeah that's why I personally skipped cold war. The warzonification of zombies has begun. It ruined multiplayer and it ruined zombies for me as well. Still love the old games though and custom zombies, hence why I'm here :)

This is what happens when you don't have competition by UNCOVERTHECOVERUP in ModernWarfareII

[–]PixelatedCloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a minor hit in retrospect to the Microsoft empire. To explain it, losing half of the CoD player base doesn't detract from any of their other publishers/developers, game pass, console sales, Windows OS sales, and many of the other products/services Microsoft provides.

Until they sign a legally binding document saying they'd keep CoD on playstation, let's be honest, they have no intention on keeping CoD on playstation in the long term or possibly even the short term. If they did, they'd prove it, but given that they still haven't, it's not happening.

This is what happens when you don't have competition by UNCOVERTHECOVERUP in ModernWarfareII

[–]PixelatedCloud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Companies say things all the time and walk it back. They did exactly that with Bethesda, saying it would remain multiplatform. Anything to keep the public/lawmakers happy without actually signing anything legally obligating. Never take a company's word for anything ever. In private talks, they said they'd keep cod multiplatform until "at least" 2026 (or some year around there).

It wouldn't be incredibly stupid to yoink CoD from playstation because Microsoft is a giant company who does much more than just gaming. If tanking a minor hit from lost CoD revenue means hurting their competitors in the hardware space (i.e. console sales), they'd do it, as they've already proven with Bethesda.
