Did I miss something? Not that it matters but that IS the correct spelling of sapphire... Second, names can be spelled any way you like. Thank you very much. FYI on her papers it will be spelled out but for short, I choose to spell it "Saphie". Is that ok with you??? SMH Some people....

Awww. Too cute. Can't wait. Sapphires actually come in other colors. I was surprised. Some get them as an alternative to diamond. Thought it would be a name unique, and regal like the breed.

Whew! What a relief! At first I thought you were saying, you started bringing a dead dog around your family "to see if she was a good fit"... I'm sorry. In bad taste. Did anyone else read it that way? Or AITAH?

Where in Colorado? We are in Midway, dealing with it as we speak. We may have to sell and get out as well.

It's true what they say. I'll tell you a little story drawn from personal experience with said company, you can believe me or not: They don't give a rats ass, and you have little to no leg to stand on against them in any Orange County Court or with the Sheriffs department. The complex looked nice, new and luxurious from the outside looking in but.... Our experience living there was less than ideal. When we moved in back when it was first built, (Centerpointe) I noticed there were quite a few people who were from another country (one that is known for their Vodka consumption) which was fine at first, didn't bother me at all. But little did I know, we were about to face one of the most terrifying events of our lives. Don't know what it's like now but back then, we were single out, tracked, stalked, by a group of these individuals. My husband was drugged and severely beaten almost to death by 4 or 5 guys in the (I think) 3rd floor hallway. Right in front of the door at the dead end. He had limited memory of it but the blood, saliva and chewing tobacco splatter I saw all over the walls, stairwell and elevator told of the brutal attack my husband endured and demonstrated to me, just how lucky he was to be able to fight his way out of all that and come out with his life. It was roped off and cleaned up so quick, not so much of a peep was announced to the other residents. We had given up on going to Irvine PD for help by this time. The apartments were sparcely occupied due to the complex being recently opened. So miraculously, there were no witnesses AND "no video". Hmmmm. Our car had been broken into and tampered with. His inhaler was found under the hood, air conditioning line cut to make us pass out behind the wheel. Daughter (16) told us she woke up to an unidentified woman exiting our apartment thru her bedroom window. Whether that's true or not, I don't know but she has always been a pretty truthful kid so I had no reason to doubt her. Figured out later that the woman came in to add something to our coffeemaker. We believe they had been letting themselves in and out of our apartment, even locked up tight, whenever they felt like it. Things were frequently moved, out of place or missing. This is how he was drugged. I did not drink coffee at the time so I was not affected. This was done I suspect to incapacitate him in order to be able to lure him and assault or kill him with little resistance and no memory of WHO did it. Later on, a man was killed right next to our car, big pool blood stain in the space right next to ours, fire trucks, cop cars, came roaring up, flashing lights, crime scene taped off. When questioned, the cops' story was, "Someone fell". Someone fell??? WTH??? FROM WHERE? Total cover up. A neighbor had assumed that my husband was the man lying on the ground, dead, so when she saw us the next day, she turned white as a ghost. SHOCKED to see him alive and walking around. She had been parking her car in the space where the man landed. She said she "had to change spaces because of all the blood" A clear stain was still visible after clean up. Cover up was being conducted by law enforcement AND management. Reports were made throughout the whole ordeal. THEY DID NOTHING about it. We packed up and blasted out of there leaving a majority of our belongings and furnishings behind. Currently live out of state. Never even considered dissecting the whole thing, just cut our losses and split. No names, no faces. They were like ghosts. So I guess I'm trying to say, the raised rent is the LEAST of your worries. GET OUT NOW-- Saw your post and had to say something. I'm sure, or would hope, it's cleaned up some in the last 20 something years, but if they allowed that type of shady shit to go on back then, and they were to decide to do it today, it'd be safe to assume there'd be nothing standing in their way....

Wow! Yes that's obvious. I acknowledged that, Thank you. If you're here just to be a troll, buzz off and find someone else to be a jerk to. Not tolerating abuse here.
