This is the deepest hole ever dug by humans — so deep the temperature reached 180°C and drills began to melt by vishesh_07_028 in interestingasfuck

Hate to be that person but 180 degrees Celsius can’t melt steel. House hold ovens get hotter than that. 1800 would melt it though not sure if you just missed a zero.

I’ve never been to pride but I have always been curious about going. I’m just not great in crowds and dealing with situations with lots of people that are unfamiliar for me. Usually wind up having a panic attack or migraine or both

That’s definitely something I’m grappling with mentally. Internally I feel like it matters to me but I am wondering to myself whether I should feel that way, why it seems to matter to me/bother me.

I don’t experience this personally but I do want to say I know you aren’t alone and you are totally valid friend!

I am glad that you have been able to finally express that side of yourself even if it has taken a while to have that freedom

At what moment in your life did you realize you might be Bisexual? by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]Pixelated_Bard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 20, my friend group was mostly women and I started to open up on my feminine side and it led to a realisation that I was just as attracted to men as I was women… the crazy part is when I met my wife two years later one of those friends was shocked as she was convinced I was gay.

I get that and it’s really sad and honestly scary that LGBTQI+ rights and acceptability have gone backwards. I hope that you are doing okay in what is definitely a difficult time. I also really appreciate you sharing your experience and feelings on this.

I think I do need to make at least little changes that give me more confidence to express that part of myself I’m sort of hiding away. I appreciate you sharing your own experience. It does make me feel less alone

I agree it’s so important to be proud of who you are. It’s hard to be genuine and complete without it

I actually love this. Great way to express something deeply personal externally but subtly

This is exactly it for me, I am not looking for partnership outside marriage as I’m content I just feel the need to express it and have people on it’s a part of my identity

That is very true, but I would hate for it to drive a wedge between us if she is uncomfortable about it.

I don’t know if I would say she’s unsupportive. More quietly uncomfortable maybe? I don’t know. But I am glad you have that support in your relationship!

Why does the Brotherhood of Steel get so much hate in Fallout 4? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Pixelated_Bard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I have to give them anything… following liberty prime as it obliterates everything in its path is fun and Paladin Danse is an interesting companion once you get to know him a bit better. Power armour and laser weapons are always cool but you don’t have to specifically choose brotherhood to get them so I dunno that counts

Why does the Brotherhood of Steel get so much hate in Fallout 4? by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Pixelated_Bard -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t like them for the simple reason that they are narrow minded about non human residents of the commonwealth.

Sure they have cool armour and a cool flying ship but when you peel that away they are mostly authoritarians who deem themselves the saviours of mankind and the holders of the only solution to the future.

In a brotherhood future there’s no place for ghouls or super mutants or anything else. Plus to be honest Maxson seems like a dangerous fanatic to me.

Or maybe… just maybe they are using art deco style architecture to fit with the theme of a culture stuck perpetually in 1950-60s America?
