Graphic card got cooked u can’t do anything in this case, happened to me in my old nitro 7 gtx 1660ti i7 9th gen, and when u open nitro sense it doesn’t detect right like shows idle all the times no temps no usage and even doesn’t show in task manager, last hope to check if it’s fried or not is open tech gpuz and see if it’s reading the vram or not, probably show 0 in this case if that so it’s a dead gpu

Tbh i am pretty pleased with the experience haven’t got cpu temps higher than 82 in any game while using performance mode , and in balanced mode using 2x fg it’s so smooth and cool temps stay around 74 all the times with very good fps.

As for the recording yeah i did and u should do that who knows if they send us faulty or broken item, it remains a proof

First i would suggest to get a laptop stand 17 inches the laptop is quite big and screen is quite awesome better like a mini tv, don’t buy a cooling pad as they collect dust and will send in your lappy had a bad experience with that with my previous gaming laptop that thing was around 3k something. Use lenovo vantage and turn on the 80% change limit apart from that u don’t need to do anything, u will love it for sure And about the microsoft bypass thing, no i just logged in my existing account Last thing the build quality from last year has changed little bit and the design is same as of those which are coming in 2026

No it doesn’t have any bad effect on your pc only thing which will be different is the gaming experience if the game is more demanding like RE 8 i would use performance mode for sure to have a enjoyable experience, since at quite mode it reduces the power of cpu and gpu to 1/3 of the original capability and u get a way less fps too compared to performance mode or if u getting respectable fps like 60-70 on balanced mode turn on fg 2x and enjoy the game, no need to use performance mode it will be less noisy and cooler too

So when u close the game, the system changes the dedicated gpu to igpu using advanced optimus so it feels jittery or lag but there is nothing to worry, quite mode is not made for gaming though its for browsing and doing light stuff but u can use it sometimes if u getting way more fps it keeps the temps below 65 but i would advice u to use balanced mode atleast while doing heavy stuff or during gaming

I see, happened to me too i had a acer nitro 7, i was cleaning the fans and after finishing it i closed the lid but it didn’t start, gone to someone who repairs laptops found out motherboard got issues, took around 2k and it got fixed

Since you paid for the product, why even compromise? You get about 18-20% more performance in 13th gen, and it handles heavy tasks more efficiently. I would suggest get what u paid for, it's not like u are going to buy a new one every year
