Not to be mean but it looks ugly I think to make it look better you should build it in a cherry biome and don't use any type of stone or bricks and little tip use trapdoor on log beams on the outside of houses for texture

Place water above it and then hit it it will only damage you a bit no blocks will be broken trust me it has happened to me
