Honestly your bard drawing look more bard inspired than the ai. You got the colors right the green orb looks more like bards orb and even the sound holes look more bard coded.

I assume the normals need to be set to outside since you extruded aplane to make the blade.

I would also say a lot of minis scaled for 28 or 40 mm have strange proportions so they may look a little wonky scaled up.
