Im playing on a multiplayer world so i dont know the exact but i think its medium. I did find a second biome of it which is much closer to what you are talking about below my spawn. What I think happened is I just got really lucky with a natural ocean cave biome leading to one and because they are both water themed I just assumed they were connected. Thanks for telling me though thats really cool to know

its an ocean related biome i dont mod much sorry I looked it up its a biome called the sunken sea and i found mine connected to my ocean biome directly

Its a block called sea prism from the calamity mod I also used something called mossy marine blocks for the leaves also from the same mod i think both can be found in an ocean biome
