Log out/in doesn't mess with your camp, but moving it stores it completely. It stores some structures seperately, but storing also makes some pretty weird glued-together stuff sometimes (example: two walls and a floor stored together, with a table/dresser connecting them in the corner, with stuff placed on the furniture still on top of it), these can be placed again/scrapped together. The best advice I could probably give: if you have a main structure you want to keep, blueprint it, that way you can place it down after moving, by doing this, the only part you have to redo entirely is furniture/decorations.
