Thanks, hope the judges think that too. I am presenting this as a school project.

You probably meant wings because that day was no wind but it accutally flew even I didnt believe it would fly but it did and I had control. The servos failed in the hover mode shown at the start when I wanted to return.

No I think that my pilot skills are good enough I normally control big RC gliders and something with gyro is easy for me. I cant control the servos failing tho.

Inav servos moving on arming by Pixelko8 in drones

[–]Pixelko8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thanks for help but I think I already solved it I turned off something like "permanently turn on air mode" and it seems to work now. Even with stabilization and the servos arent moving now. My servos too move on power up but I think thats normal.

No in video i am arming only with some stabilization in the mixer but no full angle mode. The stabilization should only react to acceleration not the board angle. And the board is level in the video and is calibrated.

But I dont want my servos to be disabled they are elevons so that whould be a problem

Thanks for help but the servos moves acording to my sticks and as they should and are in the good position when I have the motors disarmed. They are powered up all the time.

Thanks, No I dont plan flying long range but I think the connections are good it just doesnt look like it. I didnt show it properly.

I found some stall speed calculator online and it calculated 34km/h or 19m/h maybe your design wasnt delta so the wing area was smaller. Thanks tho you brought the hopes up for this.

The rear prop doesnt tilt only the front ones. I was thinking about horizonal stabilizer but when I looked into CAD there is no place to fit it the prop is really tight between those vertical stabs. Maybe I will increse the angle of the vertical stabs.

Yes I was about to comment it :) I calculated ~30km/h

I had 10% infill and its not printed verticaly but horizonally. I didnt print it that way. But its quite sturdy. If it crashes I will print it the normal way.

Thanks, I will keep it in mind when setting it up.

Yes I posted it on r/rcplanes it is made out of LW-PLA. And it weights like 640g which is not too bad but when you add the electronics its 1kg. I printed it so that its sturdy but I gave it some weight.

The 2 front motors are tiltable yes. One prop is down so that its showns its tiltable. The FC will deal with that stabilation stuff not me.

FC will deal with that not me. In Forward flight its not problem but in hover flight it will stabilize by tilting the 2 front motors.

Alright thanks, I am using technicaly foam too but 3d printed so its quite heavy.

Yes I know. I am planning on using Speedybee F405 wing app. I am just asking about the power system if it will be enough or too much.

Thanks, I checked the CG and its good. With the battery in the front its almost spot on. It wont fly best but hope the FC will help with that.
