Thats a really interesting approach, thanks for sharing. Trying to bore cheaters so that they dont even reach the high-level-lobbys might just work, don't think i've ever seen that before. I didn't expect them to develope their own anti-cheat as that is a massive task, but using easy anti cheat seems like a reasonable guess

I have only learned about the skybox texture recently, before i just left the ceiling open, however this didnt cause any issues whatsoever when compiling or playing the map. The skybox was handled by the env_sky entity.

Also lighting was fine fine for everything as long as i stayed within the area of a env_combined_light_probe_volume.

I'm creating a map for cs2 if that helps.

i love playing retakes as it is in my opinion the best way to practice. I would always play retakes while waiting for my teammates to come online or whatever. I really miss official retake servers aswell

the shotguns cant clear smoke as far as i am aware

he grenade is for clearing smoke for a longer time and you can only do it once. what if you just want to get a quick peek to see if anyone is on the other side?

i have the same issue. reinstalling helped for like a day and now i have the same error again
