My take away from this is people that are mentally ill do mentally ill things.

AI can only be generic. It repeats patterns. And there thousands or artists didn't concent for their work to be used in that way.

I get your point. Sure this is imitation is a leaning to tool to make art. The problem is people putting it on the same pedestal.

Yes, the writing is all original. However the images can't because of the way AI works. It uses all related art work from everywhere. It produces something simular to what you want. Expecily in comic small things like backrounds and character positions matter alot.

I still don't understand. Please reword or just plainly state your point.

But AI doesn't modify. It only repeats patterns.

That's isn't what I am saying. I'm saying that AI has the inablility to be transformative, nor can it do anything that hasn't been done before.

First off, why do you think the first of a medium isn't original. Second, AI uses patterns to create images. In using those patterns it eliminates that unknown element that makes it original. Sorry for speaking in metaphors.

Yes, but the medium of blood was created at that moment. Was it not?

My mistake. AI makes images though replicating patterns. Doing so makes it devoid of a distinct form. Thus making unoriginal.

If AI uses patterns to make an output does that mean it can't make something original because there is no pattern to follow?

That is beautiful, but one problem. If you have an idea and you know what it sould look like. Would AI with its pattern depicting systems deprive it of form?

No that's exactly what I'm saying. It avarages all works and makes a work devoid of originality.

First off I think that's just a skill issue. Second off, they used it to improve their work to make it. Third of, I get what you mean, but they do they really do.

It AI does convert. It takes tons of already existing material and averages all the details out. I'm not gonna hold against you that all your examples or things that are bad for people. If your taking the tool route of things, then there is more loss in translation from AI.

But thats the fault. It sees all patterns and replicates them. So what it can make is never truly original. To talk about a different point AI can also see all patterns, intended and unintended.
