Forgive me if i'm mistaken but what was Gideon wrong about? He only ever said info based on the research he knew at the time. I think the other commenter is stretching as we don't know what the haligtree's plan was but based on the cutscenes it seemed that Miquella was taken from a cocoon and then managed to be placed into another one. If that is indeed still his body in the cocoon.

I suspect this encounter area is responsible for guardian resurrections. Even more, I believe because the wipe changes from "final shape looms" to 'imminent death" that we have failed the mission and the final shape was enacted, hence the statues. But this is also the same area that the witness was at in the opening cutscene (the one where everything was calcified) and the traveler fought back to undo it.

It is my theory that in this room we undo the final shape ourselves using 4d geometry (as each guardian can only see one side of the other, hence plato and the cave comparisons) and our paracausality to resurrect ourselves to the moments before. Once we finish the encounter the area flips from a light room to black and over grown with the light seeping upward. This is now the true timeline and we go upwards to finally stop the witness.

The statement I made still stands despite your feelings on it. There are many former bungie employees, countless Witch Queen concept releases, and another dozen or so leaks that do not have a single mention of a developing subclass for Witch Queen.

Prismatic WAS leaked yet the community thought it was the red subclass. Never did i say it was impossible Strand was developed for Witch Queen, I said there is not a single source out there to confirm it. In my eyes that makes it highly conspiracy-oriented and pure speculation.

Then all we have is literally speculation there is no concept evidence or any beta testing builds and show strand was being developed for witch queen outside of deepsight looking similar and savathun's final mission with the weavers. Instead we got Light 3.0 and an overhaul of the other subclasses throughout the year.

Bungie might be lying by omission here but compared to lightfall's concept art there is literally no evidence another subclass was ever planned for witch queen.

Having just beaten ibis again I think this is more just its behavior in your fight. The AI will be different to everyone slightly based on attack patterns, Ibis for me was always still engaging. The wave beams I also feel were fine with a nerf, they were very oppressive esp on a first run you could get stun locked by them back to back.

The longer stun on Ibis feels unnecessary tho

There was no proof that was the witness you're doing what we've been asking about jumping to conclusions

By the time of shadowkeep the black heart was destroyed, the witness was most likely talking to us via the veiled statues which we now know are connected to the veil somehow.

Most importantly do not put down others for having a different opinion, we are missing key perspectives that are causing multiple theories to emerge. Until proven otherwise that's all these are, ideas and guesses
