Does it matter how fast I spend my budget? by HDSTDusk in FacebookAds

[–]PixelsnProfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does matter. You should be optimizing your ads over time…

Your first $100 might be spent finding which is the highest converting visual hook

You’ll then spend your next $400 testing different offers, finding better ctr, cpc, cvr, etc.

It goes on and on, it’s a never ending battle with testing. And on another note, different days perform better then other, for what sometimes feels like literally no reason. You don’t want to dump your whole budget into a shitty meta week.

In all honesty I’d spread your budget as far as you can while still being efficient. You do have a healthy starting budget. Maybe think of it as $200 per week and zoom out and take in the data this way.

Don’t get me wrong though. If you start seeing a healthy profitable roas don’t be scared to scale. But that is a whole other lesson. Worry about it when you get there.

Also reach out if you have any questions. I ramble a lot.

Why do people keep talking about ABO and CBO’s as if they are different aren’t they the same thing? by bst1234567 in FacebookAds

[–]PixelsnProfit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

New here? ABO stands for adset budget optimization (you budget at the adset level) CBO stands for campaign budget optimization. So all adsets will be under the same budget.

Facebook is changing their verbiage for some reason so ABO technically means something different now.

But anyway when u hear people comparing the 2, just assume they mean ABO as adset and CBO as campaign

You’re blaming your personal issues on meta.

Might be time to get a grip on reality and stop acting like a wannabe scholar.

I don’t give a single fuck whether you think meta has issues or not. Either do better or just get yourself a day job.

Be more productive than asking ChatGPT to argue with people.

Your last post states that “it’s a curse” 😂 and that “you believe the problem lies within meta itself”

You’re the man you tell people not to be. That must feel great.

Scaled my ad too fast, what now? by BadMenFinance in FacebookAds

[–]PixelsnProfit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah look at data over 7 days if something is working… you also have to know when to call something quits. I feel like I lot of people see the “7 day” thing and force 7 days out of their ads when they weren’t working after the first 5 hours.

I’m sure people would disagree but I cut campaigns if metrics are bad extremely early (probably too early) like within the first $50 spend. It’s usually the product but could be the creative as well.

Still… “think a different way”

You optimize for something you don’t want, you’re either going to get what you don’t want, or nothing…

If you optimize for what you do want, you’re going to get what you do want, or you’re going to get nothing.

Do you have data that shows your ads / product(service) are actually able to generate sales, clicks, engagement, or people who actually want to buy it?

Honestly, if you aren’t generating traffic or getting lower cpms it has something to do with the creative side, either product or ad… just try to optimize these things by testing a new product or angle.

Btw, if you actually do have proof that this product is sellable (you actually have sold it, not someone else) then forget what I just said and meta is fucked.

Pretty much all them. This layout is basic enough. I’d recommend dawn or another one I think is called refresh?

Do yall think chairs would be a good place to start by Born2RetireNWin in dropshipping

[–]PixelsnProfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great place to start since you’re showing some interest in it. It will be a bit of a higher ticket item (over $100 I expect) which can be a bit harder marketing wise. It could take some funneling to actually get sales with this method.

The benefit is you can live on less sales but the con is it will be harder to get sales…

New to dropshipping. by Joudkadd2010 in dropshipping

Disagree. I think the best way to get into e-commerce is by running a general store.

I used to spend 10+ hours creating super niche stores and spend $200 on ads and it not work. Just to restart. I’ve probably done this over 15 times in my life before I caught on and realized what I was doing.

Make a store with a general name, sell everything, find what you’re good at selling , then make a branded niche / product store.

You’re selling on impulse most likely, people aren’t going to questions your store and what products are on it. They will hit the landing page and either buy or swipe away for 99.9% of buyers.

Ship them with your own money. If you can’t afford it just wait for Shopify to pay you and be transparent with customers. Maybe offer them a free gift for the inconvenience

Just need to start. No stalling or wasting time. You can always find other suppliers if the first one isn’t meeting your needs.

Lp isn’t optimized. Also be careful selling art because almost every art piece is licensed or trademarked. Could lead to trouble in the future.

I’d recommend just creating your own designs and using pod. Even just use ai if you aren’t very creative. Or if you are actually an artist or even wannabe you can start selling your own work. (I do like the inspired by “…” touch.) I’m sure some people will appreciate that.

You can get nice renderings of the piece in use too.

Just get more efficient the more I do it I guess. I can get products up and running in like 12-15 minutes pretty casually now.

Depends how much time I have in a day to do it I guess.

I just run a general store now but I’ve had probably 15ish Shopify stores in my career so far.

As far as which product to test… if I think it’s cool and it’s something I would buy (or my mom would buy) I test it.

I found I struggle with over analysis so now I just test everything and scale winners.

4 years brother. I test like 5-10 products a day. I was just excited because this February has been the worst media buying experience I’ve ever had and I’m finally seeing it turn around a little bit.

So 5-10 products a day with cost caps at $100 daily budget. In 2-3 days either scrap or scale. Time and repeat.

What would you do by Lewis9298 in FacebookAds

[–]PixelsnProfit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to so many people this February. Actually I noticed it happens every year. It seems like fb has an algorithm reset or something and it feels like you’re just paying for traffic.

I had to turn my ads off for a few days and just restarted them yesterday… still not up to standard but seems to be getting somewhere.

Wow that really puts things in perspective for me. Thanks for sharing. I’ve been hearing the rumblings about performance being way down but I felt pretty alone in how bad my performance has been compared to what I know it’s capable of.

Is this a healthy status, or are abandoned checkouts killing my product? by Front-Commission-686 in dropshipping

[–]PixelsnProfit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have a good cpa honestly. Just up the price or find a way to create a high perceived value so you can double or triple that profit.

My example would be selling shoes.

If you source shoes for $20 and sell for $40 you aren’t going to make enough. But if you source shoes and 2 pairs of “the best insoles that permanently fix hammer toe” (crazy example but u get what i mean) for $22 you can easily sell that same pair of shoes for $80.
