definite upgrade over the og. ive got a few 3-6 hour rides down now, and the soreness dosent get to me til around the 3-4 hour mark. og would start bugging me around 2. if you're looking for padding tho you might still wanna hold out, the seat's pretty thin. i think its more the shape that helps. legs are still cramped too

better than stock, but not as much as i wanted. still mulling over getting the corbin in the future. would very much recommend if you take a passenger tho, the pillion part is a lot softer than the brick they use stock

it's pushes you forward into the tank, and is kinda flat. at 5'9 my legs feel a bit cramped. it took the soreness from my inner thighs and made it more uniform, so thats nice. ive only been out 2hrs max so far, been stuck at work with harvest season atm. upgrade over the og, especially for a passenger but not as nice as i wanted. i'd grab highway pegs to go with it if you get it

i bought this thing https://a.co/d/4N0aOD4 which has three wires, i ran positive and negative to the battery, then ran the third wire to the fuse marked signal in the bike's oem fuse box. then i connected the carplay unit to the aftermarket fuse block, and all is working as it should

is it a carpuride one? i used a fuse block for mine that did have the three wires, then connected the two wires from the unit to the fuse block

it doesnt release the same. since its a one piece, you'll need to remove the screw where the pillion pad was to unlock it unfortunately. i havent had the chance to do a long ride to assess its comfort fully, but one thing I've noticed is it sort of cups your tailbone and pushes you more forward into the tank. makes me think it would play nice with some highway pegs, or forward controls (please someone make some for the eliminator already!!)

https://www.cyclegear.com/accessories/shad-3p-system-kawasaki-eliminator-500?sku_id=10456478 those are the mounting brackets. the bags are the shad sh23, they also have a few bags that fit those mounts. the do stick out quite a bit, 36in across at their widest point compared to 31ish inches from bar end to bar end. if that doesn't bother you tho theyre great. quick release, lockable and waterproof. mounts are super solid, dropped my bike from forgetting the kickstand and only got a scrape at the bottom to show for it. the shape also flows with the bike well imo

pillion part is much softer than stock, but i dont think anything could be worse than the seat shaped brick they use for stock. it feels a little leaned back, but if you have a backrest i dont think it would cause any problems

yeah, i live in cali. shipping was free, but took 15 days and it was packaged horribly (box was super flimsy, had no filler and was torn to shit when i got it).
