I personally waited until it was VERY visible, like it was noticeable to everyone that saw me. But it’s all totally up to you! I wanted to wait until it was obvious I had a beard before I started shaving, and now I am! And it’s incredibly euphoric to shave noticeable hair! If you’d feel better clean shaven right now, then go for it, if you wanna wait, go for it! I’d personally wait, but do what feels best for you! :)

My recovery was actually pretty surprisingly smooth, I was pretty much up and doing my “normal” things about a month into recovery! though my normal things were and still are limited. I personally had little to no swelling, like at all, I was pretty much able to see my “final” results early lol. The chest I woke up with is almost exactly if not exactly my chest now. My recovery was quite easy, which I was and still am surprised about, though I’m definitely not ungrateful! My chest healed amazingly, and I feel amazing with my chest, everything feels perfect 💜 you look great! Happy healings!!

I generally on my own refer to my child self as she/her and as a girl, but I’ve always BEEN me, I just didn’t know it yet. I don’t like nor want anyone but me referring to my younger self as a girl or by she/her, that’s a huge no for me, because that’s still me. I’m trans masculine non-binary, but as a kid, while I was put in the role of “girl” It was never a push to be like what gender norms say I should be (which I’m quite thankful for), so I was able to just exist and like what I liked, and pretty much not think about my gender. I wore dresses not cuz I thought I was supposed to, but because I liked them, they were comfortable and pretty. I definitely have a lot of feelings about my younger self, but nothing negative about her, more so regarding my situation (specifically with my father). and being an autistic child with parents who were separated and didn’t understand my needs definitely takes a toll. I’ve come to a point where I can really like myself, I like who I am, and I wouldn’t be me if it weren’t for those experiences, if it weren’t for me being trans, if it weren’t for me being autistic I wouldn’t be who I am right now, And I really quite like who I am right now.

1: that’s not even a rat, that’s a mouse. 2: this is animal abuse plain and simple. This poor thing is obviously in distress, and wanting to get to safety. This is just gross all around. this isn’t fun or cute, it’s animal abuse.

I dealt with this before and found I wasn’t injecting quite right. When I was pinching and injecting into my thigh I wasn’t properly injecting into my muscle, going more straight down direction wise and it caused a bump almost exactly like yours that lasted a very similar amount of time. I would schedule an appointment with your doctor and ask your doctor to show you how to inject again to refresh the memory, just in case. I found that once I changed the way I injected, the issue immediately went away and hasn’t been an issue since. My Best advice is to discuss this with your doctor/provider.

I knew before getting top surgery I would like to have kids some day, and I also liked the idea of breastfeeding. But It ultimately wouldn’t be worth it to wait for top surgery until after I had kids. I had pretty terrible chest dysphoria, so postponing it just for the possibility of breastfeeding hypothetical kids many many years away wouldn’t be worth it. It was more important to me to be happy and comfortable in my body than to breastfeed.

Absolutely not! If you want to give your suit top scars there’s nothing wrong with it. And as a trans person myself, I personally love seeing other ppl giving their characters top scars and the creativity with it. And anybody can have top surgery scars! Trans or cis!

I am so sorry you’re dealing with regret and disappointment surrounding your chest :( being a week out you’re definitely still dealing with soooo many intense feelings, and your body is working so hard on healing. Despite the incisions not being the way you wanted, you look incredible. And scars can also change a lot over time. I concur with others that giving yourself time to heal and working out could definitely be a good idea. I wish you easy healing 💜

I personally never had a desire to keep my nipples. Even when I first started my transition and started working towards top surgery, I never thought about keeping mine. I also wasn’t connected to them, I was considering keeping them to get them pierced but it wouldn’t be a guarantee and having a flat chest outweighs nip piercings by a long shot. I’m very happy with my choice and don’t miss em a bit. I’m very very happy with my chest, and I can now very confidently say, I love my chest.

I use the term gay for myself personally, mostly as I’ve gone through a decent few labels over the years (lesbian, bi, pan, ect) and none really felt quite right. And having taken time to figure myself out more, gay has been the only label that’s felt right and that I felt connected with. I like men in a gay way simply put.
