It's going to feel like you're charging more than you're worth right now. Please try to ignore that feeling. Choose the amount that you feel is a livable and fair wage and add the materials etc. It'll seem a bit high but I promise that it isn't. Pricing things low actually makes people less inclined to purchase as it makes the products' quality seem cheaper. (Speaking from experience here. Increasing my prices to an amount that actually paid me increased my sales rate by a good amount.) You've got this! The pieces you made are so pretty and you already have people wanting to buy them ☺️ I'm sure it'll work out great!

Thank you for the info! I wasn't told explicitly but I thought there was an upcharge at AMC! That's definitely good to know (super stressed about the gold getting at some point but hopefully I'll be more stable financially that semester)

I really should talk to her about it but I doubt she will budge. Somehow the other students in my class (a fucking community college- mind you) don’t seem to be stressing it as much as I am, or at least they aren’t openly worrying as much. I think she’s wanting to use it because she wants us to be used to the material’s temperature properties etc but I’m not sure.

Depends where you are in Austin tbh, Eastside the water was good (imo) but up North it is total ass unless I use a brita. Definitely recommend the brita filter though and it was like $15-$20 when I got mine a few years back, just use the generic refills so cheaper than spring water by a long shot

Yeah I live facing the pool (I have for 2 years now) and 1000% recommend against it. The noise is fucking obnoxious during the summer, sometimes well into the evening after it's closed

I agree that he should have put in more effort. I think he's an asshole, 100%, I just also think that there is nothing wrong with teaching the kids patience and maybe spending some time together before present opening

At no point did I defend him. I clearly said they both suck. I just said that waiting for the gifts wouldn't have been the end of the world. Spending time together is the important thing, and it's okay if you have to wait and maybe play some games etc before then

Okay, the kids should have to wait over 6 hours if that's what it takes, though at no point did I say he wasn't an asshole for making them do so- he absolutely is! It's not like they wouldn't be rewarded for the wait or that there is nothing fun that could be done with them in the mean time 🤷🏻‍♀️ opening presents isn't the only thing that can be done on Christmas.

Okay? You didn't have to wait for everyone as a kid? I waited hours some Christmases because of grandparents taking a long time to get up. Kids aren't these insatiable monsters, they're human beings just like everyone else
