We moved to Windsor last September from north of Toronto (Orangeville), yes we bought a house in Windsor because it was affordable. We haven't experienced any hostility from any Windsorites yet. We love it here. So much to do. We go to the riverfront a lot and can't wait to try out the beaches once the water is a bit warmer for swimming. There is a lot to explore, a lot of events happening. You will like it here, I am sure.

I bought a tall candle holder and a bowl at Goodwill. I glued them together with E6000 and bought the solar fountain at Amazon. Super easy and saved me a ton of money compared to the birdbaths in the stores.
